Creating an updated garden for this mid-century home included a redesigning of the garden off their elongated brick paver terrace. Our focus in this design was to create a dramatic natural garden presentation between the home and an older lagoon pool.
The landscape concept included a unique combination of oversize hero garden elements for dramatic focal points visible from within each interior room along the terrace. Key features in this design renovation include a specimen Agave, basalt stone aggregate paths, tortilla stone river rock, perennials and succulents. This zero scape desert garden includes mossy boulder outcroppings and large metal planters for seasonal color plantings. A natural sloped stone garden wall separates the lawn space with a secluded natural pool in the woods.
