Original Landscape Concepts developed a front courtyard composition that blends large-scale natural materials, custom fabricated steel elements, specimen plantings, and carefully organized circulation patterns into a unified design experience.

One of the primary design objectives was to visually anchor the home's stone façade to the site. Oversized quarry block stone elements were strategically positioned throughout the landscape to establish a strong relationship between the architecture and the surrounding environment. A defining feature of the project is the use of custom fabricated hero-scale Corten steel planters. Within these custom planters, carefully selected specimen plants serve as sculptural focal points. Weeping Blue Atlas Cedar trees provide elegant architectural form and movement, while mature Blue Agave create bold statement pieces that reinforce the Hill Country character of the design. Additional planter compositions incorporate Tortilla Stone and Macro Tejas aggregate to create refined courtyard and atrium-like garden experiences.

The circulation system was designed with equal attention to detail. Linear dry-laid stone edging was used to organize planting areas, define movement patterns, and establish a strong sense of order throughout the property. This disciplined approach helps capture visual domain along the prominent street frontage while maintaining the clean geometry associated with modern Hill Country architecture.

Mature existing trees were preserved and elevated as key landscape assets.
