Fairview

Fairview has something most of Collin County doesn't: actual topography. The land rolls here. That changes everything. Pool siting, retaining wall design, terrace layout, and how water moves across the site all start with the grade. We work from a topographic survey before we sketch a single line. It's the only honest way to design on terrain like this.

Heritage Ranch and the acreage estates nearby run large. There's room for a full program: pool and spa, covered outdoor living, multiple hardscape levels, garden planting, and a perimeter that holds the composition together. We've designed projects where the finished landscape has three distinct elevation zones, each connected by stone stairs and retaining walls that hold the grade while giving the property its character.

Native limestone and buff sandstone read correctly here. They match the terrain and the traditional-to-transitional architecture that dominates the area. Natural stone coping. Terraced plantings between wall faces. Live oaks established on the slope.

On sloped sites in Dallas clay, drainage is structural. A retaining wall that isn't drained fails. We engineer it in, not out. Every wall, every terrace, every pool deck is designed with the water's path accounted for.

City of Fairview requires permits for pools, structures, and significant grading. We prepare and manage the full submittal. The grading scope means more documentation than a flat-lot project. We're used to it.
